Yangon Regional Government’s land sale drew huge interest. Over 12,000 applications were submitted by prospective buyers but only 640 applicants are eligible to buy the land. The others have been disqualified for failing to provide required information or meet all the criteria set by the regional government.
“Some of the applicants offer higher prices, but we have to dismiss their applications as they do not provide complete information,” U Than, joint secretary of Yangon City Development Committee said during a meeting with the media.
During the selection process, the committee verified that the name of the application form buyer matched the name on the application and checked that the applicant provided complete information.
A large number of applicants failed to propose a price, include a financial statement or submitted a financial statement the committee deemed implausible.
The successful applicants will be allowed to use the land upon payment of municipal fees to the YCDC, according to the Land Management Committee.
The regional authority has invited expressions of interest to implement infrastructure development such as road, water and power supplies.
Buyers must pay fees for land preparation and construct a home within six months. They are not allowed to transfer ownership of the land to a third party for three years after the sale is complete.
The management committee plans to sell nearly 10,000 acres of land under its management in three batches. The lands are located in East Dagon, Dagon Seikkan, South Dagon, Hlaingtharyar and Shwepyithar Township.

စတင်ရောင်းချသည့်အချိန်မှ နောက်ဆုံး ရောင်းချခဲ့သည့် နိုဝင်ဘာ ၈ ရက်အထိ လျှောက်လွှာစောင်ရေ ၁၅၆၂ဝ ကျော်ရောင်း ချထားပြီး မြေကွက်ပြန်လည် လျှောက်ထား သူ ၁၂၁၅၈ စောင်တွင် အချက်အလက် မပြည့်စုံသောကြောင့် ဝယ်ယူခွင့်ရရှိသူ ၆၄ဝ ကျော်သာရှိကြောင်း ရန်ကုန်မြို့တော်စည် ပင်သာယာရေးကော်မတီ တွဲဖက်အတွင်း ရေးမှူး ဦးသန်းက ပြောသည်။
”ဝယ်ယူခွင့်လျှောက်တဲ့အခါမှာ တချို့က ဈေးပိုပေးတာမှန်တယ်။ အချက်အလက် မပြည့်စုံတဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် ပယ်လိုက်ရ တယ်”ဟု တွဲဖက်အတွင်းရေးမှူး ဦးသန်းက မီဒီယာများနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံစဉ်ပြောသည်။
ယင်းသို့ မြေကွက်ဝယ်ယူရန် လျှောက်ထား သည့် လျှောက်လွှာများကို ပထမအဆင့် အနေဖြင့် လျှောက်လွှာ ဝယ်ယူသွားသူအ မည်နှင့် လျှောက်လွှာတင်သွင်းသူအမည်မှန် ကန်မှုရှိမရှိ စိစစ်ပြီး လျှောက်လွှာတွင် ဖြည့်ရ မည့် အချက်အလက်ပြည့်စုံစွာ ဖြည့်ထားခြင်း ရှိမရှိကို စိစစ်ကြောင်း ဦးသန်းက ဆိုသည်။
ထိုသို့ စိစစ်ရာတွင် လျှောက်လွှာအချို့တွင် အဆိုပြုဈေးမပါဝင်ခြင်း၊ ငွေကြေးအထောက် အထား မတင်ပြနိုင်ခြင်းနှင့် ငွေကြေးအ ထောက်အထားတင်ပြပါကလည်း ခိုင်လုံမှု မရှိခြင်းတို့ကြောင့် လျှောက်လွှာများကို ပယ် ခဲ့ရကြောင်း ဦးသန်းက ဆိုသည်။
လက်ရှိရောင်းချမည့်မြေနေရာများတွင် ရေ၊ လျှပ်စစ်မီးနှင့် လမ်းစသည့် အခြေခံ အဆောက်အအုံလိုအပ်ချက်များ ရှိသည့် အတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်မည့်ကုမ္ပဏီများကို စိတ်ဝင်စားမှုအဆိုပြုလွှာများ ခေါ်ယူထား ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ယင်းသို့ မြေလျှောက်ထားသူများကို သတ် မှတ်ထားသည့် စည်ပင်စရိတ်ပေးသွင်း၍ အသုံးပြုခွင့်ပေးမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း မြေစီမံခန့် ခွဲမှုကော်မတီမှ သိရသည် ။
ခြောက်လအတွင်းတွင် စည်ပြင်မြေစရိတ် ပေးသွင်းရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ခြောက်အတွင်းတွင် အဆောက်အအုံ ဆောက်လုပ်ရမည်ဖြစ်ကာ သုံးနှစ်အတွင်း မြေအမည်ပေါက်ပြောင်းလဲ ခွင့်မပြုကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီးဒဂုံအရှေ့၊ ဒဂုံ ဆိပ် ကမ်း၊ ဒဂုံမြောက်၊ ဒဂုံတောင် ၊ လှိုင်သာယာ နှင့် ရွှေပြည်သာမြို့နယ်တို့တွင်ရှိသော စီမံ ခန့်ခွဲပိုင်ခွင့်ရှိသည့် မြေဧက တစ်သောင်း ခန့်ကို ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းမြေစီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုကော်မတီ က သုံးကြိမ်ခွဲကာရောင်းချသွားမည်ဖြစ် ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
