Having sold over 8 million units worldwide, tech giant Asus finally announced that its Zenfone Series is now available in Myanmar, as their 17th officially launching country in the world.
Since the launch of May, Zenfone has been one of the fastest growing smartphone brand in Southeast Asia, Asus said.
“We are very excited to bring this empowering luxury to the people of Myanmar,” said ASUS IndoChina Country Manager Jeff Lo.
“I have always believed that the best technology should be made available to everyone, and the Zenfone is a perfect example of how our ‘In Search of Incredible’ brand promise results in extraordinary technology for everyone to enjoy.”
Zenfone is available with screen sizes ranging from 4 to 6 inches, and in a variety of colours, featuring Intel Atom processors.
It also features ASUS PixelMaster camera technology for capturing clear image and video. Even in darkness, Zenfone 5 and 6 offer “Low-light Mode” that increases light sensitivity by up to 400 percent and contrast up to 200 percent, Asus said.
Besides Android 4.4 KitKat, each Zenfone is pre-loaded with ASUS-exclusive ZenUI interface. It offers intuitive apps such as “what’s next” and “do it later” that help users manage personal information and daily task.
Asus said it will soon bring its Fonepad series with 7-inch and 8-inch option for Myanmar’s big-screen lovers.
Zenfone 4 comes at a price of $99, while Zenfone 5 and 6 will cost $159 and $249 respectively.
