The Construction, Housing & Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID) has announced it will sell low-cost housing to customers who have at least K3 million savings in their account with the bank.
Available apartments range in size from 324 to 1,100 square feet and are priced from K6.6 million to K60 million. They are in four- or five-storey blocks in the Shwe Lin Ban housing project Phases 2 and 3, Kyan Sit Minn, Htee Hlaing Shin and Shwe Lin (Commercial Area) in Hlaing Thar Yar Township; Thilawa housing project in Thanlyin Township; and Yuzana 1 and 2, Kanaung and Yoma housing projects in Dagon Myothit Seikkan Township.
Interested buyers are to bring their savings passbook along with a copy to register at the Department of Urban and Housing Development by January 24.
The department will publish a list of qualified applicants and hold a lottery to select eligible buyers on January 30 and 31.
Applicants need to provide clear information about the housing they want to buy including housing type and name of project. Buyers are required to pay a 30 percent down payment and the bank will provide a 15-year loan with 8.5 percent interest for the balance of the purchase price. Once purchase is complete, ownership of the property cannot change hands.
Monthly payment rate is capped at 30 percent of borrower’s income. Missing four repayments in a row could lead to a penalty. Homeowners cannot pawn, resell, lease or hand over the property to a third party before the loan is completely paid off.

အဆိုပါအိမ်ရာများကို ဝယ်ယူလိုသူများသည် ဇန်နဝါရီ ၂၄ ရက်နောက်ဆုံးထားပြီး အိမ်ခန်းဝယ်ယူလိုကြောင်း အမည်စာရင်းပေးသွင်းရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး အမည်စာရင်းပေးသွင်းစဉ်တွင် ဘဏ်စာအုပ် မူရင်းနှင့်အတူ မိတ္တူဖြင့် ဗိုလ်တထောင်မြို့နယ်ရှိ မြို့ပြနှင့် အိမ်ရာဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးဦးစီးဌာနတွင် လာရောက် စာရင်းပေးသွင်းနိုင်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အမည်စာရင်းပေးသွင်းသူများကို အခန်းအရေအတွက်ပေါ်မူတည်၍ ဇန်နဝါရီ ၂၈ ရက်တွင် အမည်စာရင်းများကို ထုတ်ပြန်ကြော်ငြာမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ဇန်နဝါရီ ၃၀ ရက်နှင့် ၃၁ ရက်တို့တွင် မဲနှိုင်ရွေးချယ်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အိမ်ရာစုဆောင်းငွေပြည့်မီသောကြောင့် အခန်းဝယ်ယူသူများသည် မိမိဝယ်ယူမည် အိမ်ရာစီမံကိန်း၊အဆောက်အအုံအမျိုးအစားများကို သေချာရှင်းလင်းစွာစာရင်းပေးသွင်းရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ ထိုသို့ အခန်းဝယ်ယူမည်သူများသည် ငွေစုစာအုပ်တွင်ပါရှိသည့်နာမည်ဖြင့်သာ ဝယ်ယူနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပြီး အခြားမည်ပြောင်းလဲခွင့်မရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အခန်းဝယ်ယူလိုသူများသည် ကနဦးပေးသွင်းငွေကို အခန်းတန်ဖိုး၏ ၃၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းကို ပေးသွင်းရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျန် ၇၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းအတွက် ချေးငွေထုတ်ခေးျမည်ဖြစ်သည်။
ချေးငွေကာလသက်တမ်းမှာ ၁၅ နှစ်ကြာမြင့်မည်ဖြစ်ကာ အတိုးနှုန်းမှာ ၈ ဒသမ ၅ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းပေးရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး လစဉ်ပေးဆပ်ငွေနှင့် ဝင်ငွေအချိုးမှာ အများဆုံး ၃၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း သတ်မှတ်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အရစ်ကျပေးဆပ်ငွေကို လေးလ လေးကြိမ်ပျက်ကွက်ပါက စာချုပ်ပါစည်းကမ်များအရ အရေးယူခြင်းကို ခံရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ချေးငွေမကျေမီ ပေါင်နှံခြင်း ၊ရောင်းချခြင်း ၊ ငှားရမ်းခြင်းနှင့် တစ်ဆင့်လွှဲပြောင်းခြင်းတို့ကို ခွင့်မပြုကြောင်း သိရသည်။
