အောက်တွင် မြန်မာလို ဖတ်ရှုနိုင်ပါသည်
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population said that public and private sectors created 18,352 jobs across the country in June this year.
The ministry said it has been helping people to find jobs through the Labour Exchange Management System aiming to help businesses find enough workforce.
The government employed 733 people while the private sector employed 17,619 workers in June across the country.
Job creation across the country was around 6,000 jobs in May and 9,300 in April. In March, over 24,000 people were employed locally and over 15,000 were employed overseas. The country created 26,000 jobs for people while over 27,000 people went overseas to work in February while 24,000 people get jobs in the country and 29,000 people got overseas jobs in January.
There are nearly 600 garment factories in Myanmar and 40 percent of them were impacted by the COVID-19. Around 25,000 people from over 40 garment factories have lost their jobs as of late March.
On the other hand, around 150,000 people directly and indirectly employed by the hotels and tourism are at the brink of losing their jobs unless the situation gets better.
