The Ministry of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement announced that it will provide financial assistance to the pregnant mothers in nine states and regions including the Naypyidaw Council Region.
The Ministry of collect data of the pregnant mothers between August 1 and September 15.
All the mothers who have documents confirming pregnancy issued by the government hospitals and clinics or private hospitals and clinics are eligible for financial assistance.
The financial assistance program will cover Naypyidaw Council Region, Kachin State, Magway Region, Sagaing Region (Naga region not included), Mandalay Region, Yangon Region, Mon State, Bago Region and Tanintharyi Region.
The pregnant mothers will be able to enjoy K30,000 once by registering through the app Ngwe Bike (roughly translated as Silver Pregnancy), which is available at Google Play Store and Apple Store.
The government will provide financial assistance to the bank accounts of the benefactor or through closet bank branches, mobile payment, or through quarter heads.
