The Ministry of Electricity and Energy has placed an order for another 5,600 distribution transformers worth approximately $10.64 million from Hitachi Soe Electric & Machinery as part of the initiative to increase electrification rate from less than 50 percent in 2018 to 100 percent by 2030.
Rapid economic development has driven up demand for electricity in Myanmar and the establishment of power infrastructure to support this demand is now a major issue. In 2015, the government formulated the Myanmar National Electrification Project (NEP) with the goal of providing electricity access to every household through the establishment of a nationwide power distribution grid, with funding from the World Bank.
For the first round of equipment bidding for the NEP, Hitachi SEM, a subsidiary of Japan’s Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems, delivered approximately 5,400 distribution transformers. In the second bidding, the company won the order for another 5,600 distribution transformers, taking the total to approximately 11,000 units.
Production of the distribution transformers is slated to start before the end of this year and Hitachi SEM plans to deliver all units by the end of 2020.

အဆိုပါ အမှာစာ၏ တန်ဖိုးမှာ အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၁၀ ဒသမ ၆၄ သန်းခန့်ရှိသည်။ မကြာသေးမီနှစ်များက စီးပွားရေးဆိုင်ရာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှှုများကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် လျှပ်စစ်စွမ်းအင်လိုအပ်ချက်မှာ လျင်မြန်စွာ မြင့်တက်ခဲ့ပြီး လိုအပ်ချက်များကို ဖြည့်ဆည်းရန် လျှပ်စစ်ဆိုင်ရာ အခြေခံအဆောက်အအုံများ တည်ဆောက်ရန်မှာ အဓိက အကြောင်းရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်လာခဲ့သည်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အစိုးရသည် လျှပ်စစ်ရရှိမူနှှုန်းကို ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် ၅၀ ရာခိုင်နှှုန်းအောက်မှ ၂၀၃၀ ခုနှစ်တွင် ၁၀၀ ရာခိုင်နှှုန်းအထိ တိုးမြှင့်ရန် ကာလတို ကာလရှည် ရှည်မှန်းချက်များ ချမှတ်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အစိုးရသည် ၂၀၁၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ကမ္ဘာ့ဘဏ် ၏ ထောက်ပံ့မှှုဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်သည့် တစ်နိုင်ငံလုံး လျှပ်စစ် ဖြန့်ဝေရေး စနစ်မှ တဆင့် မြန်မာတစ်နိုင်ငံလုံးရှိ အိမ်တိုင်းတွင် လျှပ်စစ်မီးရရှိစေရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး (NEP) ကို ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည်။
Hitachi SME (NEP) ပရောဂျက်အတွက် ပစ္စည်းများတင်သွင်းရန် ပထမလေလံကို အောင်မြင်ခဲ့ပြီး Distribution Transformer အလုံးရေ ၅၄၀၀ ခန့် ပို့ဆောင်ခဲ့သည်။ ယခုအခါ Hitachi SME မှ ဒုတိယ အကြိမ်လေလံအောင်မြင်ခဲ့ရာ အလုံးရေ ၅၆၀၀ တင်သွင်းရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး စုစုပေါင်း Distribution Transformer အလုံးရေ ၁၁၀၀၀ ခန့် ကို ပို့ပေးရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။
Hitachi SME သည် ဒုတိယ အကြိမ်အတွက် ပေးပို့ရမည့် Distribution Transformer များကို ယခုနှစ်အတွင်း စတင်ထုတ်လုပ်မည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်တွင် အားလုံးပို့ဆောင်နိုင်ရန် စီစဉ်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။ အနာဂတ်တွင် Hitachi SME သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်း လျှပ်စစ်ဓါတ်အားဖြန့်ဖြူးရာ၌ ဓါတ်အား တည်ငြိမ်မှှုရှိစေရန် Distribution Transformer များကို အဓိကလုပ်ဆောင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ထားရှိပြီး စွမ်းအင်ထုတ်လုပ်ခြင်းနှင့် ဖြန့်ဖြူးခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ စက်ကိရိယာများအတွက် ဒီဇိုင်းပုံစံ ထုတ်လုပ်မှှု ရောင်းချခြင်း တပ်ဆင်ခြင်းနှင့် ထိန်းသိမ်းခြင်းများဖြင့် ဆက်လက်ထောက်ပံ့ပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်သည်။
