Hyundai Launches Starex Brand in Myanmar

Hyundai has launched its Hyundai Starex brand, known as Hyundai H1 in Europe, in Myanmar.

Hyundai’s Myanmar showroom will directly import the car from South Korea.

The car, which has a capacity to seat 12 people, runs on 2500cc diesel engine. The model comes in both auto and manual transmissions and has sliding doors on both sides.

Hyundai Myanmar showroom said it expects the car to become popular as school bus or general purpose car.

The manual transmission Hyundai Starex costs K29.1 million, while the auto gear version costs K23.6 million.

The car, which comes with three-year or 100,000 kilometre warranty, can be bought through either down payment or by instalments, Hyundai said.
