South Korean automaker Hyundai said it has started selling brand new cars at its recently opened Hyundai Motor Myanmar showroom.
All the vehicles, which range from Saloon and SUV to Sports and Hatchback, are directly imported from South Korea, the company said.
“The customers can get not only international quality and but also highest guarantees on those left-hand drive cars,” Hyundai said in a statement.
Customers will also be able to choose from two different payment options – they can pay a down payment and the rest amount in instalments (hire-purchase system) or they can rent a car on year-by-year basis.
Hyundai also launched a promotion program on the occasions of Thadingyut and Thanzaungtine festivals during October and November.
Under the program, the company’s Sonata, Elantra and i30 brands will be available at discounts of up to K3 million ($3,000), it said.
Customer can get brand new car through hire-purchase system with up to 30 to 50 percent off from the initial down payment for one to three years.
The vehicles can be purchased at the same price at all sales representatives centre in Yangon, Mandalay, Pathein, Pyay, Naypyitaw, Taunggyi, Magway, Mawlamying, Pyin Oo Lwin, Monywa, Loikaw and Lashio, Hyundai said.
