IPT PowerTech Group Opens Myanmar Office

Beirut-based IPT PowerTech group, a provider of power solutions and telecom infrastructure services, has opened its operation in Myanmar, under the name of Linfra.

The Lebanese firm said it aims to meet the needs of the country, where power is a real challenge.

With Linfra Myanmar opening, the group now has 12 offices in the Middle East, Africa and neighbouring countries.

The company said that plans to develop this operation were stimulated by the need for energy-efficient products and infrastructure services in Myanmar.

Through IPT PowerTech Group’s various operations, Linfra Myanmar will extend the group’s “Managed Services” portfolio, including maintenance, care services and data centres preparation and management.

“The opening of Linfra Myanmar office is an important step towards realising one of the group’s goals in coupling energy-efficient and hybrid solutions with telecom managed services to best serve and optimize its clients OPEX, aiming to reinvent the telco infrastructure,” the firm said in a statement.

IPT PowerTech, which provides power solutions and specialty batteries, telecom infrastructure and managed services, has offices in 12 countries, and provides its solutions to 80 operators and vendors in 50 countries.
