Myanmar Airways International’s 4th Airbus 320 has arrived at Yangon International Airport on November 1, 2021. The newly arrived Airbus 320 was added to the MAI fleet along with three Embraer E190s, three Airbus 320s, and four Airbus A319s.
Currently, the Department of Civil Aviation has extended the Effective Period of Temporary Measures to Prevent Importation of COVID-19 until 30 NOV 2021. The MAI has announced that it will realign its flight schedule with the new extension of the international flight ban to and from the Yangon International Airport.
However, MAI said it will be fighting relief flights to and from Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, and Bangkok, when permitted, meanwhile Singapore (SIN), and Kolkata (CCU) will be suspended till the mentioned date above.
