The Ministry of Commerce last year announced a list of items foreign and joint-venture companies are allow to buy and export. The list includes meat, fish, value-added crops, pulp and paper, seeds, purified metals, semi-finished vegetable products and wood-based furniture.
On February 4, the ministry released detailed criteria for commodity exports aimed at securing bigger foreign markets and better prices.
According to the list of criteria, companies can export pigeon peas and black gram in cleaned and hulled (whole/split), cleaned whole/split with skin, flour (original/roasted), canned or packaged form. Whole mung bean, other beans and pulses are allowed to be processed and exported in the same manner except as canned goods.
Peanuts can be exported as ready-to-eat packaged or canned peanuts while butter beans can be exported in cleaned and hulled (whole/split), cleaned whole/split with skin or canned form.
Maize exporters are allowed to export cleaned maize kernels, cornflakes, corn flour or cornstarch and millet as animal feed. Sesame can be exported in the form of sesame flour, roasted sesame flour or hulled sesame kernels.
From October 1 to January 31, Myanmar made $6.115 billion from exports, an $835 million increase year-on-year. Exports of agricultural products increased by $123 million, fishery exports by $48 million, mineral products by $48 million and manufacturing products by $192 million.
As of January 31, foreign trade totaled $13 billion, up by $1.7 billion.

နိုင်ငံတကာဈေးကွက်ပိုမိုရရှိရန်နှင့် ထုတ် လုပ်သူများ ဈေးကောင်းရရှိရန်ဟူသည့် ရည် ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့် ခွင့်ပြုခဲ့ပြီး တဆင့်မြင့်ပြုပြင် ထားသော ကောက်ပဲသီးနှံများနှင့်ပတ်သက် ပြီး ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၄ ရက်က စီးပွားရေးနှင့်ကူး သန်းရောင်းဝယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက အသေး စိတ်ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။
ကောက်ပဲသီးနှံအမျိုးအစားဖြစ်သည့် ပဲ စင်းငုံကို အခွံချွတ်၍ အစိမ်းမှုန့်၊ အကျက် မှုန့်၊ စည်သွပ်ဗူးနှင့် အသင့်စားသောက်ကုန် များအဖြစ်ထုတ်လုပ်ပြီး တင်ပို့နိုင်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
မတ်ပဲနှင့် ပဲတီစိမ်းကိုအခွံချွတ်ပြီး သန့်စင် ကာအသင့် စားစားသောက်ကုန်များအဖြစ် နှင့် အမှုန့်ကြိတ်၍ထုတ်လုပ်တင်ပို့နိုင် ကြောင်း သတ်မှတ်ထားသည်။
မြေပဲဆံကို အခွံချွတ်ပြီးစည်သွပ်ဗူးဖြင့် ထုတ်ပိုးကာ ပြည်ပသို့ တင်ပို့နိုင်ပြီး ထော ပတ်ပဲနှင့် အခြားပဲများအားလည်း အခွံချွတ် သန့်စင်ကာ အသင့်စားစားသောက်ကုန်များ အဖြစ်ထုတ်ပိုး၍ တင်ပို့နိုင်ကြောင်း သိရ သည်။
