Those who left Myanmar for a life abroad can now top up mobiles in their home country, according to MobileRecharge.com.
The service is available for top ups to cell phones pertaining to Telenor Myanmar, the company said. Telenor Myanmar is the first operator in Myanmar on MobileRecharge.com.
Telenor prepaid users in Myanmar can get mobile credit gifts anytime from now on, directly from their relatives living in other countries with MobileRecharge.com.
MobileRecharge.com said it takes less than a minute to send a gift or top up one’s personal phone and the mobile credit reaches the destination number instantly. Also, one will be able to control how the money sent home is spent, it added.
The firm said it aims to expand its network and penetrate new mobile top up markets in Asia and Africa, and that new operators will be soon added.
MobileRecharge.com is an interactive website designed by KeepCalling, a US-based telecommunications company. In 2014, Inc. 5000 listed KeepCalling as the 18th fastest growing company in the telecommunications industry in the US.
