Myanmar Post and Telecommunications (MPT) will soon launch a website that will enable users to directly send comments and suggestions, said U Khin Maung Htun, managing director of the state-run communication service provider.
The website, www.mpt.com.mm, will provide information on the telecommunication operations and services of the company as well as receive direct suggestions from public users.
“The website will update everything relating to the telecommunication service. Users can also make suggestions by posting comments on Facebook,” U Khin Maung Htun said.
He said MPT’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/mptofficialpage, is also being regularly updated to reflect special programs such as bonus promotions and the launching of cheaper SIM cards.
“MPT should provide the public with the most up-to-date news and services on a real time basis,” Ko Myo Min, a web designer told Myanmar Business Today.
MPT has recently set up joint operations with Japanese mobile service provider KDDI and conglomerate Sumitomo to improve the quality of the service.
