Myanmar, France Agree to Cooperate in Media Development

Myanmar and France have agreed to cooperate in development of media and film industry.

The cooperation agreement was initiated between Myanmar’s Ministry of Information and France’s Ministry of Culture and Communications.

“It is a fruitful result coming out from the cooperation project that has started last two years,” French Minister Aure’ Lie Filippet said, adding that France is ready to offer technical assistance.

The agreement also covers technology transfer in broadcasting and joint production of films.
