Myanmar Hosts International Beauty Expo

Myanmar will host an international beauty expo next month, as more international companies recognise the opportunities available within the country.

The event is organised by Thailand-based TPN Media Group, and will take place from 14 to 17 February at the Myanmar Convention Centre.

The event will include booths from beauty companies from Asia and across the world, as well as performances from singers, dancers and models alongside free giveaways.

Beginning on Valentine’s Day, the expo will also have a number of events based on the holiday.

The event is part of TPN’s move into the Myanmar market, as the media group, which publishes fashion and beauty magazines in its native country, recognises the opportunity in Myanmar.

“Myanmar is beginning to show more interest in the fashion and beauty industry,” said TPN CEO Pattita Theerapattanavong. “We have recognised the opportunities available in Myanmar, and this event is a part of that.”
