Myanmar has seen increased foreign and local investment in September 2020, according to investment data for August and September from Myanmar Investment Commission.
In August, the commission approved $40.992 million foreign direct investments while the approved investment in September reached $507.159 million.
Looking at the investment by sector, the industrial sector received eight foreign investments in August totaling $40.309 million while September saw 11 foreign investments totaling $212.839 million.
The construction sector and hotel and tourism sector did not receive any investments in August. However, the sectors received $220.135 million and $10.158 million respectively.
The service sector in September received 4 investments with a total volume of $64.027 million compared to $0.683 million in August.
In August, local investment totaled K168.276 billion similar to that of September, which saw K168.907 billion.

အဆိုပါ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်များအရ ၂၀၂၀ပြည်နှစ် သြဂုတ်လအတွင်း ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု တိုးမြှင့်ခြင်း အပါအဝင် နိုင်ငံခြားရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု စုစုပေါင်း တန်ဖိုး အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၄၀.၉၉၂သန်းရှိခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၂၀ပြည့်နှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလအတွင်း၌ ရင်းနှီး မြှုပ်နှံမှု တိုးမြှင့်ခြင်းအပါအဝင် နိုင်ငံခြား ရင်းနှီး မြှုပ်နှံမှု စုစုပေါင်းတန်ဖိုး အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၅၀၇.၁၅၉သန်းခွင့်ပြုဆောင်ရွက်ပေးခဲ့သောကြောင့် နိုင်ငံခြားရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု တိုးတက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ခွင့်ပြုခဲ့သော နိုင်ငံခြားရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု လုပ်ငန်းများ မှာ သြဂုတ်လတွင် စက်မှုကဏ္ဍအတွက် ၈ခု မတည်ငွေရင်းပမာဏမှာ ကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၄၀.၃၀၉သန်းဖြစ်ပြီး စက်တင်ဘာလအတွင်း စက်မှုကဏ္ဍ ၌ လုပ်ငန်း ၁၁ခုအတွက် မတည် ရင်းနှီးငွေ ကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၂၁၂.၈၃၉ သန်း ရရှိခဲ့သဖြင့် တိုးတက်မှုရရှိခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
အိမ်ရာအဆောက်အဦကဏ္ဍတွင် သြဂုတ်လ အတွင်း နိုင်ငံခြားရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု မရှိခဲ့ဘဲ စက်တင်ဘာလတွင် လုပ်ငန်း ၂ခုအတွက် ကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၂၂၀.၁၃၅သန်း မတည်ရင်းနှီး ထားကြောင်းသိရသည်။ ထို့အပြင်ဟိုတယ် နှင့်ခရီးသွားကဏ္ဍတွင် သြဂုတ်လအတွင်း မတည်ရင်းနှီးမှုမရှိသော်လည်း စက်တင်ဘာလ အတွင်း မတည်ရင်းနှီးငွေ ၁၀.၁၅၈သန်းရရှိ ထားကြောင်း ဖော်ပြထားသည်။
အခြားဝန်ဆောင်မှုကဏ္ဍတွင် သြဂုတ်လအတွင်း လုပ်ငန်းတစ်ခုအတွက် မတည်ရင်းနှီးငွေ ကန် ဒေါ်လာ ၀.၆၈၃သန်းသာရှိခဲ့ပြီး စက်တင်ဘာလ တွင် လုပ်ငန်း ၄ခု၌ မတည်ရင်းနှီးငွေ ၆၄.၀၂၇ သန်း ရရှိခဲ့ကြောင်းသိရသည်။
ထို့အပြင် ၂၀၂၀ပြည့်နှစ် သြဂုတ်လအတွင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားရင်းနှီးမြုပ်နှံမှုမှာ စုစုပေါင်းတန်ဖိုး ကျပ်သန်း ၁၆၈၂၇၆.၀၉၄သန်းရှိခဲ့ပြီး စက်တင် ဘာလတွင် ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု တိုးမြှင့်ခြင်းအပါအဝင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုမှာ စုစုပေါင်းတန်ဖိုး ကျပ် ၁၆၈၉၀၇.၀၈၇သန်း ခွင့်ပြုဆောင်ရွက် ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
