A Myanmar-Thai business matching will be held at Sedona Hotel in Yangon on January 22 to promote bilateral trade between the two countries, according to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
The business matching will be jointly organised by UMFCCI and Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI).
The meeting is expected to draw over 40 Thai entrepreneurs who will mainly discuss products related to agriculture, food, electronic, construction, garment and estate.
Myanmar businesspeople will have a chance to discuss with Thai entrepreneurs who want to become the sole distributor or agent of their products in Myanmar market, UMFCCI said.
Thailand’s investment in Myanmar stood at $9.98 billion as of November 2013.
