Myanmar, Thailand to Implement Technical Cooperation Program

Myanmar and Thailand will implement a technical cooperation program this year.

Both sides agreed to implement a program for 15 scholarships on post-graduate study and 25 short-term training courses covering 250 fellowships in Thailand in 2014 under the Human Resource Development Programs.

The cooperation was discussed as a Myanmar delegation met with a Thai delegation headed by Suchada Thaibunthao, deputy director general from Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, at the 14th Myanmar-Thailand Consultation on Technical Cooperation Meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw recently.

Additionally, they also identified the new projects on technical cooperation in response to the needs of Myanmar.
