The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is planning to launch non-landing sightseeing flight tours as an attempt to initiate the relaunch of the tourism industry halted by the COVID-19.
Non-landing sightseeing flight tours will be launched in the first week of December, the sightseeing cruise tours in the river in the second week of December, and inland tours and voyage in the last week of December in accordance with the standards and rules of the Ministry of Health and Sports, and the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has encouraged the Myanmar Tourism Federation and its related organizations to prepare for the tours as it is trying to revive the nearly stopped industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Myanmar targeted to receive over five million tourists in 2020 for the first time and was on the track to its target until the pandemic has halted the global tourism business.

ကိုဗစ်ကပ်ရောဂါကြောင့် မြန်မာ့ခရီးသွား လုပ် ငန်းသည် လုံးဝနီးပါးရပ်ဆိုင်းသွားရပြီး ခရီးသွား လုပ်ငန်းပြန်လည်စတင်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ယခု ခရီးစဉ်များကို စီစဉ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း မြန်မာ နိုင်ငံ ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်း အဖွဲ့ချုပ်နှင့် ညီနောင် အသင်း များအနေဖြင့် ယခုခရီးစဉ်များအတွက် ကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်ရန် နှင့် ခရီးစဉ်များ ဖြစ်မြောက် ရေးအတွက် ဝိုင်းဝန်းဆောင်ရွက်ရန် ဟိုတယ်နှင့် ခရီးသွားလာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက မေတ္တာရပ်ခံ အသိပေးထားသည်။
