New Chef Hired at Emerald Palace Hotel, Naypyitaw and Residence@26, Yangon

The Unique Collection of Hotels and Resorts announceed the appointment of Chef Dario Cattarinich as the new Executive Chef at the first two properties in Myanmar managed by the company, The Emerald Palace Hotel, Naypyitaw and Residence@26, Yangon. 

Chef Cattarinich, who was born in Italy, has always been fascinated by the art of culinary, which has defined his career. With 15 years experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries at various international locations, Chef Cattarinich brings expertise on Italian and Fusion Asian cuisines together with a true passion for the culinary arts and new culinary ideas.

In his new capacity, Chef Cattarinich will be overseeing all of the culinary operations of both properties and will showcase his extensive knowledge of food preparation with the best quality ingredients and contemporary Italian and Fusion Asian cuisines. 

The Emerald Palace Hotel is located on Yarzathingaha Road, just a short drive to various Ministries and Pobbathiri Railway stations.  Naypyitaw Airport is 20 minutes by car from the hotel.  Comprised of 46 rooms and 6 villas, The Emerald Palace Hotel is suitable for guests with a variety of needs, including business travelers, honeymooners and leisure guests. The nearby Sunday Walking Street provides a taste of the local culture, while the hotel’s restaurant and bar offer a variety of international dishes, cocktails and other beverages.

Residence @26 is a newly constructed Serviced Residence located in the Sanchaung district of Yangon, situated on a quiet street between U Wisara and Pyay roads, just 8 kilometers from the city’s international airport and 4 kilometers from downtown Yangon. The residence offers a total of 24 units that are divided into three categories including Studios and One and Two-Bedroom Residences with uninterrupted views of  Shwedagon Pagoda, just 1.5 kilometres from the property, all of which are suitable for either long-staying guests or short-term travelers.
