Panasonic Corp, one of the largest electronics product manufacturers in the world, will expand its business by cooperating with local engineering companies in Myanmar.
The company is planning to strengthen development of localised products and to expand sales in both business to business (B2B) and business-to-consumer B2C) sectors, identifying Myanmar as a strategic market for future growth, state-run media reported, quoting an official of Panasonic Asia-Pacific.
It planned to hold first exhibition displaying the full range of B2C and B2B solutions in Yangon in October this year.
The new showrooms exhibiting both B2C and B2B solutions with service centres incorporated will also open in Yangon and Mandalay later this year.
The new Panasonic Asia-Pacific Myanmar branch was set up in Myanmar last year.
