Parkroyal Yangon Gets New General Manager

Jean-Marc Poli, a French-Italian hotelier, will take charge as the new General Manager of the newly refurbished 333-room Parkroyal hotel in Yangon, Pan Pacific Hotels Group said.

Jean-Marc will be responsible for the operations and all-round performance of Parkroyal Yangon, the hotel chain said. He will also have oversight of Parkroyal Naypyitaw, a 90-room hotel which opened last April in Myanmar’s capital.

Jean-Marc brings to Pan Pacific Hotels Group 28 years of industry experience across Europe and Asia, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage operations.

He had tenures with hotel companies such as Hilton International, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, and Kempinski Hotels in countries including Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Italy and Maldives.

Most recently, Jean-Marc was General Manager of 145-unit Kempinski Hotel Bahia in Costa de Sol, Spain.
