Singapore’s KHG Development Opens Sales Gallery

KHG Development has opened its sales gallery and offices in Yangon in a bid to tap the Southeast Asian country’s burgeoning property market, the Singapore-based conglomerate said.

“Real estate development of the highest standards is an exciting new chapter in our company’s history,” said Kyi Soe, chairman of KHG Holdings.

The firm in its new sales gallery, located off New University Avenue road, exhibits the new development arm of KHG Holdings which is branching out into luxury real estate development.

As a fresh entrant to the real estate scene, the company is capitalising 24-year long reputation of its parent company, it said.

Mary Thein, KHG Development’s executive director of sales and marketing, said, “Creating and communicating value to all our stakeholders through our quality products, services and brand ambassadors is vital to building long-term customer relationships. KHG is investing heavily in this.”

At the opening ceremony, the firm gave a preview of KHG Development’s inaugural luxury condominium project, INFINITY.

High-rise and high-end, INFINITY, which is situated on Kabaaye Pagoda road, Bahan township in Yangon, is expected to be launched this month.

The  28-storey,  purely  residential  development  is  touted  to  redefine  luxury  sky living boasting views of Shwedagon Pagoda, Kandawgyi Lake and Inya Lake.

It engaged architect firm ONG&ONG to lead the project and additionally has a project team of Singapore consultants.

KHG said it aims to provide real estate opportunities that are on a par with Singapore’s standards.

The firm said this is the first in a series of real estate offerings that it is rolling out, as later in the year there will be the launch of a low-rise, luxury boutique-style, development in Yangon.

KHG’s other commercial ventures in Myanmar include fast-moving consumer goods, a retail chain and packing and distribution of LPG gas for both domestic and industrial use. The firm was also appointed dealer of Samsung smartphones recently.
