Slade Property Wins Exclusive Leasing Contract

Slade Property Services (Myanmar) Ltd (SPS) has been appointed as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for Vantage Tower by local firm Myint & Associates Construction Co Ltd, the real estate services provider said.

Vantage Tower, a 236,144 sqft (21,938 sqm) mixed-use building, is located on Pyay road overlooking the western edge of Inya Lake. The project is due for completion in March.

The building, built by Myint & Associates Construction Co Ltd, will consist of two joined components.

Tower A, an 18 storey mixed-use tower, will provide approximately 15,250 sqft (1,420 sqm) of residential penthouse accommodation, split over 3×3-bedroom penthouse units, on the top two floors, approximately 100,000 sqft (9,290 sqm) of office accommodation, ground floor and first floor café and restaurant facilities.

Tower B, a Tier III Data Centre, will offer 90 racks of server co-location storage space and support services, and six level multi-storey car park that is designed to hold 160 cars.

The building includes two basement levels that will be used for car parking.

Vantage Tower will also offer supporting facilities for the tenants within the building, including a number of meeting rooms and a 4,300 sqft function area for hire by the hour.

Hugo Slade, managing director and founder of SPS, which was set up in August 2013 in Myanmar, said, “The Vantage Tower contract is a fantastic win for us. The project is set to be one of the best locations in town and with limited space and floor-plates of approximately 8,900 sqft (825 sqm), it provides exclusivity and we are receiving good demand.

“I hope to go on and win more projects like this over the next few years.”

Vantage Tower is expected be the future commercial headquarters of the developer and its affiliate companies within the MPRL E&P Group of Companies. Myint & Associates and MPRL E&P will occupy six floors out of the available 18. The remaining available office space for lease is relatively small at approximately 50,000 sqft (4,650 sqm).
