Sumitomo Electric Establishes Yangon Branch

Sumitomo Electric’s group company Sumitomo Electric (Thailand) Ltd has established a branch in Yangon to conduct marketing activities such as marketing research for infrastructure projects in Myanmar.

Myanmar’s economy has been developing rapidly in recent years, and the country is expected to have an increasing need for infrastructure to be constructed, improved and expanded in the future.

Sumitomo Electric (Thailand) Ltd, which has been engaged in sales, marketing research and planning for Sumitomo Electric Group’s products, said it aims to meet such needs through the branch office.

The new branch will conduct marketing research, promote sales and provide marketing support for local agents across the country for projects mainly related to infrastructure, such as infocommunications, power cables and transport.
