Dreambase Interactive, a Bangkok-based mobile app developer, is eyeing expansion into Myanmar in a bid to boost revenue growth and before global video-streaming rivals such as YouTube’s Premium Content Channel and Netflix enter the market.
The firm aims to offer its apps in Myanmar along with Malaysia to reach mass users and generate more revenue in the future, its founder Chatchai Tangchittrong told Thai media.
Dreambase Interactive Co earlier developed Watchever app, which is a virtual mobile video rental shop that also includes concerts and live TV.
The firm will discuss a deal with local company SkyNet TV this month to air Thai entertainment content while screening Myanmar content for about 3 million Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand.
