Thailand’s ReadyPlanet to Venture into Myanmar Web services

Thailand’s web service provider ReadyPlanet said it will expand its readymade website services into Myanmar.

The firm aims to grow 50 percent this year by expanding its services in emerging markets, particularly Myanmar.

ReadyPlanet provides services such as readymade websites, online ads, training and online marketing, and will launch two more services this year – Baidu’s online ads and Facebook’s ads – while boosting its readymade website services to help its customers design responsive websites, CEO Songyot Kanthamanon told Thai media.

He said the firm will take its readymade website services to Myanmar, where the online business is expected to grow rapidly. It is now forming a team to oversee ReadyMyanmar.com.

This year, the firm aims to sign up new customers with more than 4,000 new websites.

“We aim to have 4,000 new customers in Thailand and get at least 300 customers in Myanmar,” Songyot was quoted as saying.
