Muse Wholesale Association has asked the Ministry of Construction to allow the use of Yangon-Mandalay Expressway for fruit trucks so that fruits can be transported without being spoiled.
The Ministry once allowed freight trucks to use the expressway from October 5 to November 30, which resulted in a huge benefit such as cutting the time required to transport melon and muskmelon from Yangon, Bago and Mon State to Muse. It also cut transportation costs due to shorter and faster routes causing faster transportation and earning farmers good prices as fruits arrive fresh on time.
However, the twelve-wheel trucks are no longer allowed to use the expressway starting from December 1 leaving no choice for trucks except to use the old route, which requires more time to transport goods.
Therefore, the wholesale association has requested the government to allow twelve-wheel and smaller vehicles, used for transportation of melons and muskmelons from Yangon Region, Ayeyarwaddy Region, Bago Region, Mon State, and Mandalay Region to the Myanmar-China border, to use the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway.

ကိုဗစ်ကပ်ရောဂါကြောင့် ကုန်တင်မော်တော် ယာဉ်ကြီး များကို အောက်တိုဘာ၅ရက်မှ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၃၀ရက်နေ့အထိ ရန်ကုန်-မန္တလေး အမြန်လမ်းမကြီးပေါ်တွင် မောင်းနှင်ခွင့်ပြုခဲ့ ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အဆိုပါကာလတွင် ရန်ကုန် ၊ ပဲခူးနှင့် မွန်ပြည် နယ်မှထွက်သော ဖရဲသီး ၊ သခွားမွှေး ကားများ သည် မန္တလေးမြို့အထိ အမြန်လမ်းပေါ်မှတဆင့် မောင်းနှင်ရသောကြောင့် ကြာမြင့်ချိန်များ လျှော့ ချနိုင်ခဲ့ကာ အချိန်ကုန် သက်သာလာခဲ့ကြောင်း ကုန်စည်ဒိုင်က ဆိုထားသည်။
ထို့အပြင် လောင်စာဆီလျှော့ချနိုင်ခဲ့ခြင်း ၊ ပို့ဆောင်မှု မြန်ဆန်လာခြင်း၊ သယ်ယူစရိတ် လျှော့ချနိုင်ခြင်းအပါအဝင် စျေးကွက်အတွင်းသို့ သစ်သီးများ လတ်ဆတ်စွာရောက်ရှိသော ကြောင့် စျေးကောင်းရရှိမှုအကျိုးများလည်း ခံစားခဲ့ရကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ယခုအခါ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁ရက်မှစတင်ကာ ၁၂ဘီး နှင့်အထက် ကုန်တင်ယာဉ်ကြီးများကို အမြန်လမ်းပေါ် သွားလာခွင့်ရပ်ဆိုင်းကာ ယခင်အတိုင်း လမ်းဟောင်းမှ သွားလာရခြင်းကြောင့် ကျန်းမာရေးစစ်ဆေးမှု အခြေအနေများနှင့် ခရီးမိုင်ပိုမိုရှည်လျားစွာ သွားလာရခြင်း တို့ကြောင့် အချိန်ကြာမြင့်ကာ သစ်သီးများ၏ လတ်ဆတ်မှုကို ထိခိုက်ပြီး စျေးနှုန်းများပါထိခိုက်လာကြောင်းသိရသည်။
ထို့ကြောင့်နယ်စပ်ကုန်သွယ်ရေးမှတဆင့် တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့သမ္မတနိုင်ငံသို့တင်ပို့နေသည့် ရန်ကုန်တိုင်း၊ ဧရာဝတီတိုင်း၊ ပဲခူးတိုင်း ၊ မွန်ပြည်နယ်နှင့် မန္တလေးတိုင်းတို့မှ ထွက်ရှိသော ဖရဲသီးနှင့်သခွားမွှေးတင်ဆောင်သည့် ၁၂ဘီးနှင့် အောက်မော်တော်ယာဉ်များကို ရန်ကုန်-မန္တလေး အမြန်လမ်းမကြီးပေါ်တွင် ဆက်လက်မောင်းနှင်ခွင့်ပြုရန် တောင်းဆိုထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
