Yangon’s Rose Garden Hotel Adopts IDS Next Hotel ERP

IDS Next Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, a provider of Hotel ERP and software solutions to hospitality and leisure industries, said it has acquired its first client in Myanmar.

Yangon-based Rose Garden Hotel has adopted IDS Next’s all-in-one FortuneNEXT 6i Enterprise Hotel ERP to automate maximum number of processes across departments, the Indian IT firm said.

The hospitality industry in Myanmar is burgeoning and slated to receive 3 million visitors in 2014. Rose Garden Hotel, one of the newest hospitality properties in Myanmar, has recently opened its 123 rooms under two categories – The Rose Collection and The Bamboo Collection.

Manoj Mohanty, vice president of sales the South Asia said, “Having made an entrance into the country, we feel IDS Next is here at the right time. Myanmar is an emerging tourism destination and the hotel industry in this beautiful country is set to flourish in the coming years.”

Mohanty said IDS Next is uniquely positioned to help the hospitality industry in Myanmar grow as the firm offers “360 degrees technology” to its clients.

“Not only do we offer an integrated Hotel ERP but comprehensive distribution channel, online reputation management, revenue management, web booking engine and analytics through a business intelligence solutions,” he added.

IDS Next entered the Myanmar market with the assistance of its local partner Ahtar Oo Co Ltd (ATO). Established in 2009, AhtarOo Co Ltd (ATO) provides IT solutions to its customers including hospitality software and enterprise software solutions, CCTV system, fire alarm system, public addressing and conference system and hotel smart locking management System.

U Aung Aung, CEO at ATO, said, “Hotel industry in Myanmar is gearing up to achieve record growth in the next couple of years and as a local technology provider, we decided to be a part of the growth.”

He said the firm is looking forward to a “formidable and fruitful alliance” with IDS Next to technologically empower hotels across Myanmar.
